The Curse of the Fringe Pants.

By Kiki

Here is a sample of a book that I wrote, “The Curse of the Fringe Pants.”

The Curse of the Fringe Pants (Part 1)

If you own fringe pants I suggest that you pay attention.

Because the curse of the fringe pants is true. I will start at the beginning. It started with a girl named Sammie. She lived in a small town in Mississippi. It was so small it had no name. But, they called it “1 Lane.” Her mom went down to the post office. She had been waiting for the order of custom made yellow and pink fringe pants. They had just arrived. She was excited to show them to Sammie.

When she got home she showed Sammie the pants, Sammie jumped for joy. She tried them on right away. They fit like they were made just for her, wait they were. Sammie asked if she could wear them to school the next day. Her mom answered “Yes.”

The next day at 7:30 she got up, had a shower and got on her fringe pants. She wore her favourite top, it had pink and yellow flowers to match the pants. At 8:00 Sammie and her dad left for school. She got there just on time. She had forgotten about the Mid-Term Test, it counted for 3 quarters of your grade. After the test Sammie went to the “Girls Room.” She screamed, she knew that if she got lower than a B+ she was GROUNDED for 5 months. After she splashed a little water on her face and left.

Once she was back in class she sat down in her chair. She felt something weird on her bottom. She stood up and tried to see what was there but she didn’t see anything. She went to the teacher and asked if she saw anything on her pants. “No, nothing back there.” “Okay, thanks.”

She went back to her desk and sat back down, now it didn’t feel wet but it hurt. Felt like little red ants biting her bottom. She looked for anything on her seat. NOTHING!

She asked if she could go to the bathroom again. Her teacher said “No, you need to work on your math homework.” She went back to her desk and sat down.

The feeling of the little red ants was over, but the chair felt like the rockiest rock in all of North America. It really hurt. She asked if she could switch seats to the back of the classroom. The teacher said “Stop with the silly things Sammie I’m tired of your stories.”

She started walking but she was stopped in the middle of the classroom….

For more of my story tune in soon. I’m planning to make it a 15 part series on my blog.
